Men’s Slippers

The last of my Christmas gifts for 2013 to share with you – These men’s loafer style slippers were the perfect Christmas gift for my husband to keep his feet warm in our often drafty farm house.

The pattern was wound that I found via Ravelry, and can be purchased on the Holland Designs Etsy page HERE. The only change that I made to the original pattern was that I decided to double up the sole to make them last a little longer. I made two soles for each slipper, combining them on the round marked ‘sole edging’ where I sc’d through both soles to make them into one.

The pattern itself definitely isn’t a beginners pattern, but for those that are comfortable pattern reading and with the concept of some of the stitches beyond the basics it will be a great challenge!

  1. I love crochet slippers, I think they are so comfortable.

    • I wanted to make something for him that was a little more ‘stylish’ and ‘manly’ then the normal run of the mill slippers and these fit the bill 🙂
