Christmas Ornaments

It has started – Christmas projects and gifts for this year! Handmade Christmas ornaments make great small gifts for people that  you aren’t necessarily getting gifts for, perfect stocking stuffers and an awesome little addition to gifts that need that ‘something extra’. I started off this year with little stockings and some little snowmen.

Christmas Stockings

Theses were SUPER simple, a great ornament for newer crocheters to try their hand at! The pattern can be found on the Pottage Publishing page HERE. I did this one exactly per the pattern, and at the end added a decorative ornament hook in the back to hang it. Simple and sweet!

These might just be my favourite crocheted ornaments yet! These guys are WAY too cute! I followed the pattern found on Ravelry HERE (only free for members apparently, so worth joining if you haven’t yet). When I was done crocheting the body, hat and scarf, and sewing them all together I gave my snowmen eyes by gluing black rhinestones as they made me think of that kind of coal or stone that one would use to make a real snowman! I then added a decorative ornament hook to the hat just behind the pompom.

There will definitely be more ornaments to come! Stay tuned!

Happy Hooking!
